However, he resorted to involving the provisional administrators including the county commissioner where he was guided on how he will hand over the land parcel to the president.

He invited a section of Kaburwo council of elders and church leaders where they witnessed the handover event on Friday, where Choge officially presented his token of appreciation to a team of local administrators who are expected to pass it to the president.

"Since the land is an immovable asset located in the community, the residents have resolved that they will find a way to involve President Ruto to put up a resource centre preferably dubbed a 'Hustler centre', where the youth programs will be conducted," said Choge. He adds that they are waiting for the president's directive once he acknowledged the gift.

Nandi Kaburwo Council of Elders chairperson, Christopher Kitur, who received the gift said they are looking forward to Ruto considering their proposals on the use of the land.

"Just like having cattle dips and schools donated lands, we also request for the establishment of an empowerment centre to support economic activities for the youth," he stated.

Kitur said upon establishing the facility, the social hall will be used as a rehabilitation centre for drug addicts.

David Metto, the Kosorai location administrator confirmed to have received the land on behalf of the county commissioner and it will be passed to the Head of State.

"As agreed by the members of the community, the land will be used to establish empowerment projects that will support the jobless youth," said Metto.
