Officially, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is the Executive's link with county governments, a role granted to him by President William Ruto. Unofficially, though, he could be more, given what he construes the role to mean.
"There is no governor I cannot tell what to do ...it is there outlined in the Executive Order issued by the president that I am the bridge between the national and county governors (governments)," Mr Gachagua said during a recent interview on Inooro TV.
