Eldoret, Kenya: United Democratic Party (UDP) party leader Cyrus Jirongo has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to apologise to Kenyans over his alleged role in fixing Deputy President and William Ruto at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Jirongo, a former Lugari MP who rose to the political limelight along with Ruto as Youth for Kanu in 1992 said Uhuru was a key leader in the Party of National Unity (PNU) and he was aware of the plot to have Ruto prosecuted in ICC following the 2007/2008 post-election violence.
