Acquitted ICC suspect Hussein Ali is among Kenyans at The Hague based International court following proceedings of the case facing Deputy President William ruto and former radio journalist Joshua Arap Sang.

Ruto and Sang are both charged with criminal cases resulting from the disputed 2007-2008 general election. They two have denied the charges.

Ali, who is also the former police commissioner, was among six Kenyans accused of masterminding the 2007/2008 post-election violence that claimed about 1, 300 lives.

He was acquitted by the pre-trial chamber for lack of evidence.

Others cleared by the court are former industrialisation minister Henry Kosgei and former Head of Public Service Francis Muthaura.

Ali was seen greeting Ruto in a jovial mood.

Meanwhile, Presiding Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji ruled Thursday that first prosecution witness against Ruto and Sang to testify in private session following identity revelation threats on social media.
