In this town, almost half the men are too fat to see their own genitals

UK: Almost half the men in West Midlands are too plump to see their own genitals, shocking new figures reveal.

More that 43 per cent of males questioned couldn't see their private parts due to their big bellies, according to the study.

In London, nearly one in three struggled to view their own manhoods.

Bottom of the list was the South East, where a mere one in five were to fat to check on their old chap.

Across the UK, the overall figure was just over 33.5 per cent.

The research is part of the ‘Big Check’ campaign by WeLoveOurHealth.co.uk, who are highlighting the importance of waist band measurements rather than the Body Mass Index (BMI).

The scheme, backed by medical professionals, is aimed at getting men to answer one simple, yet potentially lifesaving question: "Can you see your manhood?

Dr Johan du Plessis, the website’s doctor, told the Evening Standard: "This new research is really worrying and men must be encouraged to wake up to the potential life threatening risks of being overweight and to make this vital check.

"An obese man who can’t see his member is five times more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, three times more likely to develop cancer of the colon and more than two and a half times more likely to develop high blood pressure – a major risk factor for stroke and heart disease."
