NAIROBI, KENYA: M-net is set to launch a new East African focussed TV brand, Maisha Magic. The brand to be launched on September 1, will engage local content producers and is the first dedicated East African brand.
Speaking in Nairobi Monday, M-Net East Africa Regional Director Michael Ndetei, said: "M-Net has been building steadily on its investment in East African market, centralised in Kenya but with outreach across the region. Whilst the AfricaMagic brand represents a powerful philosophy about pan-African cohesion, there is definitely great potential for a customised East Africa television brand."
