Police impound bhang worth Sh9 million in Bungoma

Police in Bungoma have impounded nine sacks of bhang with an estimated street value of Sh9 million in Watoya Village, Bumula Constituency.

According to the area Sub County Police Commander, Agrey Makomere, the contraband was discovered on Monday at around 10pm by community policing mobilizers, who spotted a suspicious Probox vehicle hidden among trees. They alerted the village administrator, who then informed the police.
