From EDM to Amapiano, Arbantone to Rock, Kenyan artistes are pushing boundaries and creating sounds that resonate both locally and globally. These progressive genres and the artistes behind them are proof that the future of Kenyan music is not only bright but also secure. Kenyan EDM A rising star in the Kenyan EDM scene is Sofiya Nzau, the female artiste behind the smash hit "Mwaki." Currently one of East Africa's most-streamed artists, Sofia has gained global recognition for her unique blend of Gikuyu lyrics and electronic dance music. His success is a testament to the bright future of Kenyan rap.
