Arsenal are in advanced talks with Massimiliano Allegri to replace Arsene Wenger at the end of the season, report the Express.

Wenger’s two-decade reign at the Emirates is set to come to an end in the summer as the boss has not yet signed a new deal.

It is alleged that Juventus boss Allegri’s representatives have been in long conversations with the Arsenal hierarchy as he could become a potential replacement.

A deal is reportedly far from agreed, but these are thought to be some of the most advanced talks that Arsenal have held with a potential Wenger replacement.

Juventus are on course to win their third Serie A title out of three under Allegri, who is likely to be given until March to tell the Italians of his stance ahead of the new season.
