Posta Rangers will be seeking to maintain their perfect start to the 2023-2024 FKF Premier League season when they face Kariobangi Sharks at Kasarani Annex which will host a double header on Saturday from 3.15 pm.

Rangers have made a statement by sitting at the top of the table with 10 points from four matches.

The mailmen have showcased their prowess and resilience, stretching their unbeaten run to four matches, and their last narrow 1-0 victory over Murang’a Seal underlined their determination to give the regular title challengers a run for their money.

Notable victories over Sofapaka (3-1) and Kenya Police (3-0) highlighted their attacking capabilities, while their solid defensive performance against Bidco United (0-0) shows they are not just about goals.

One of the key strengths of John Kamau's men has been their ability to grind out results when needed.

Their consistency in getting points, whether through convincing wins or hard-fought draws, has put them in a commanding position at the top of the league. The two-point gap they've opened up at the helm over Gor Mahia and Sharks is a testament to their early-season form.

But that will be tested today against Sharks who are also still unbeaten this season.

In fact, Posta Rangers' first win against Sharks in 13 meetings came in 2017 when they beat William Muluya's boys 1-0.

Sharks have won two matches and drawn two, a testament that they are not an easy side to beat.

In the early kick-off match, Sofapaka will battle with Nairobi City Stars.

In Bungoma, Nzoia Sugar will host newbies Murang’a Seal who have lost two straight matches despite their earlier perfect start to the season where they won their two opening matches.

The other match will see Kenya Police, who have a new boss in former Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarušić try to turn around their poor start to the season when they face Bidco United.
