Bandari FC will start their Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Betway Cup defence this weekend against Sofapaka FC at home as the Kenya Premier League takes a break.

Seven low tier League clubs will be participating in the round of 16 matches with Fortune Sacco FC and Bidco United meeting in an all-low-tier encounter.

The matches will prove to be tough as the winner of the competition is assured of representing the country in the CAF Confederation Cup, plus a jackpot of Sh2 million.

Fresh from their derby win, Gor Mahia will host Posta Rangers at Afraha Stadium on Saturday, March 14 as they seek to add misery to an already weakened Rangers side, which has not won any of their last five matches.

Another all Kenya Premier League encounter will see Wazito FC entertain KCB in the early kick-off at the same venue.

The bankers will be keen to end the recent fairy tale of the newcomers in the league, who currently boasts a five-match unbeaten streak.
