If you haven’t been to Kogelo Kalanya village in Homa Bay County, then perhaps you haven’t witnessed the absolute devastation that HIV and Aids can leave in its wake. This area is full of orphans following a wave of death that swept through the community about 10 years ago. “It’s a village of orphans and old men and women struggling to live”, says a resident.
