As the dust settles on the General Election, Charles Nyamu from Mugamba - Ciura village is preparing to represent his constituents after being elected Murinduko ward MCA.
Nyamu, 28, a Kenyatta University graduate, won the hearts of the electorate after conducting his campaign through the support of well-wishers, who donated matchboxes, which were branded with his name and portrait.
"My political journey has not been easy since I did not have money, but residents gave me a motorcycle to campaign with. I also received banners and posters. To appreciate them, I gave them matchboxes. I distributed 10,000 of them," he said.
