Beauty and skincare have become so big, almost threatening to take over our lives. There are millions of skin products out there promising to give us clearer skin, that much-coveted glow and to slow down the process of aging.

Nevertheless, we still love skincare and makeup and don’t shy away from experimenting with various products in the hope that we’ll find that magical product that will be perfect for our skin and lifestyle. At the same time, there are days when we prefer to keep it simple even if it’s just to give our skin a break.
In an interview with Allure, comedy queen Elsa Majimbo revealed that she likes to keep things natural, preferring to spend the time watching Netflix or eating. But this doesn’t mean that she neglects her skin.
“I love my skin, because it just ... It's always so nice,” she confessed. “That's why I always drink water, because the idea of my skin breaking out, for me, I dread it.”
And we can attest to the benefits of the water. Majimbo’s skin is clear and has an enviable natural glow.
As for skincare products, Majimbo had a secret to reveal.
“I don't put any products on my skin because they feel weird on my skin.”
Petroleum jelly is her moisturiser of choice. As for cleansers, masks, scrubs, and the whole shebang of cleansing products, none of those go on her skin. She uses only water to wash her face!
