If you’re a health nut, you have probably heard of all manner of detoxes. With common ones being liver, body and kidney detoxes. While all that is good and very beneficial to your health, have you ever thought for a minute that your face needed some love too?

Adding a detox to your skin care routine can lead to a healthy, younger and glowing skin. Here are six simple steps that will have you throwing away your expensive chemical laced products and ditching your dermatologist for good.

Healthy Diet

Take care of your skin from the inside out by watching what you eat and it will take care of you.  Reducing your intake of processed foods and substituting with fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes and whole grains will do wonders for your complexion.  Tomatoes, oranges, berries and avocados all have nutrients that keep your skin hydrated, fight wrinkles and prevent break outs. Regular Exercise
