Eric Masika rejoins AFC as Ugandan midfielder Mudde eyes Bandari move

Troubled Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards have signed a four more players ahead of tomorrow's midseason transfer window deadline day.

Journeyman Eric Masika who left the den in January for Ushuru has rejoined the club barely one week after parting ways with Sofapaka.

Leopards have also acquired the services of former Gor Mahia midfielders Ivan Anguyo and Joseph Pablo Njuguna.

As per team manager Francis Xavier's confirmation, the club has also signed West Kenya goalkeeper Eliud Emase.

"We have agreed terms with the four players and we expect to officially sign them tomorrow. Those are the players we have been able to find on the market and I believe they will prove their worthiness," Xavier told Game Yetu.

Emase joins Lucas Indeche in the goalkeeping department after the departure of Kenyan international Wycliffe Kasaya and Joel Bataro.

After losing a number of their key players due to financial constraints, Leopards have been dealt yet another big blow with the imminent departure of Ugandan midfielder Musa Mudde to Bandari.

"We have been with Mudde since Saturday only to realize today that his transfer papers are being processed at the KPL secretariat. It is a big blow to the team because neither Bandari nor the player himself informed us about the move. Bandari have been discussing with him without our consent," said a disappointed Xavier.
