A flight is when you fly in the air by plane. My first flight was from Nairobi to Eldoret. I knew it was going to be scary because of how the planes take off. I thought I was going to fall when the plane went up.

When we reached the airport, we were an hour early. We were searched for metallic objects.My father told me that we would be going in separate planes. I felt sad. After we were cleared, we went to the waiting room.
My dad told me all about the planes. Our flights were announced and we boarded our planes. Much to my surprise, when the plane took off, I did not feel anything. I saw clouds, the sky and had a good view of the Kerio Valley. From the air, tea farms looked like a flat green carpet. The rivers looked like a line drawn in the soil with a matchstick. I also discovered that the sky and clouds are gases and not solids as I had previously thought. I will never forget my first flight.
