Why I have never worn a bra

Lady Speak
 Local broadcaster Millicent Aroka

Journalist who is a presenter with local radio station Millicent Aroka has never worn a bra. The mother of two laughed heartily when the bra debate cropped up and mused why one would subject her 'twins" to bondage by a piece of fabric claiming the two girls needed space, air and freedom.

"I have never fancied bras. Growing up, there was this craze amongst teenagers on the so called boob tops about my other discouraged me from wearing them saying they would make my breasts too big," she narrated.

Aroka said as she grew up into a woman, her breasts remained relatively small and not even breastfeeding two babies changed their sizes relatively.

"I have those sets of bras that come as a set when you buy pants but I have kept them, even if I am to do sexy lingerie, I would do an only pants sexy any day,"

She is not alone, internationally acclaimed female celebrities have been pictured a number of times without a bra. They include Halle Berry, Sharon Stone, Janet Jackson, Rihanna and apparently, it was not only about being typical celeb or attracting attention.

Study has given various benefits of ditching the brassier. A study in France showed that women who frequently wore bras were at risk of having their breasts sagging prematurely.

Apparently, bra impeded the muscle tissues hence allowing the twins to slumber like Olympus. The study also revealed that women who stopped in their teens and twenties could develop a stronger tissue that could give their breasts a natural uplift.

Tight bras often make one feel like they cannot breath; the heavenly and relieving feeling one gets when they remove their bra after a long day no matter how comfortable I might have been is enough reason why if you can, how about not wearing it at all especially when you are at home?

The twins need to breath. Tight bras also affects blood flow and consequently makes one feel headaches not to mention the skin irritation that sometimes leaves rather uncomfortable marks.
