Try to think of the most toe-curlingly awkward encounter you've experienced.

Then multiply it by a billion, and you may come close to how one woman was left feeling after accidentally receiving a message about her.

On TikTok, one fed up woman shared the message about her - that wasn't intended for her - from a man she said she'd been talking to for a year.

People weren't impressed by the message - which was actually intended for the man's group of friend's.

In it, the woman had texted him saying she had fun and he replied saying he had too.

But the next message, directed to a group of friends, said: "ight boys, who wants her next lmaooooo."

The woman sarcastically blasted back: "lol good luck," before appearing to block his number.

The video has been viewed more than 117,000 times since being uploaded on TikTok.

In the comments, one woman explained what had happened for people who were confused.

She said: "The guy meant to send that text to his friends but accidentally sent it to her."

People were left divided over the message but many viewers showered the woman with sympathy.

One viewer commented: "Girl I'm so sorry, you deserve better."

Another joked: "I mean...get all his friends and tell him he was the worst of them all."

A third added: "Noooo this is cruel."

Another asked: "The talking stage for a year?! Oof. You don't deserve that, don't get me wrong, but a whole year?"

Others urged the woman to not spend a year talking to someone, with one woman dubbing it a "red flag."

One viewer blasted: "Why are you spending a year in a talking stage with someone first of all.

"You're just a past time at that point."

Another commented: "Your first red flaf was that y'all were in the talking stage for a year."

A third advised: "If you're in the talking stage longer than a month or two, just forget about him."
