How about some chocolate fudge cinnamon rolls? You just cannot get enough of it. So fudgy, so gooey.

Here is what you will need:

2 & 1/2 cups flour

1/2 a cup cocoa powder

1 tablespoon yeast

2 tablespoons sugar

Pinch of salt

2 tablespoons margarine

One egg

One cup warm milk

250ml Caramel heavy cream or plain heavy cream (for pouring over the cinnamon rolls before baking at 180°C for about 45 minutes)

In a bowl, add in the flour, cocoa powder, yeast, sugar, pinch of salt, margarine, one egg, one cup warm milk, and knead until it forms a dough, cover, and let it proof until it doubles in size. Once it’s fully proofed, punch it back and roll into a big rectangle over a flat surface that is dusted with flour, now Let’s make the filling.

For the filling

3 tablespoons margarine

3 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons cinnamon powder

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Mix everything together in a bowl and apply on the rolled dough, then roll the dough like a Swiss roll and cut about 1/2 inch slices. Arrange in a casserole and let it proof. Once it’s proofed to double in size, pour the cream over the rolls and bake in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.

For the topping

150g dark chocolate

300g caramel heavy cream or plain heavy cream

Melt everything together in a microwave and make the sauce and pour over the baked cinnamon rolls, and you are ready to serve.

For best results, make sure you let your dough to rise for about an hour or so or until it doubles in size.
