Most politicians’ children tend to take after their famous parents and continue the legacy. But this is not the same in some few notable cases where the children take a complete 360-degree turn in their careers. They are breaking the stereotype and making it on their own. We have the likes of Lupita Nyong’o the daughter to Kisumu Governor, Prof. Anyang Nyongo. Lupita is an Oscar award-winning actress with an impressive portfolio with big blockbusters under her belt.

Ian, Governor Anne Waiguru’s son

Ian is the eldest son to Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru. Despite his mother being one of the most known politicians, Ian has managed to keep a low profile as he slowly charts his way up the entrepreneurial ladder. Ian is an entrepreneur and owns an IT company by the name Something Inc. which mainly focuses on software development and creative solutions. He is a student at the University at Salford University in England.

He made a debut in November 2019 when he dropped his single ‘Mi Siwezi’. He comes from a gifted lineage as popular musician Kagwe Mungai is his cousin.
