Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale could not hide his joy as his daughter Inger Imbuhila graduated with a Bsc Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi on Friday.

Taking to social media, the politician was grateful to all institutions that had shaped his daughter.

“Today is great! Inger Imbuhila Khalwale graduates with BSc Actuarial Science (Upper Second Class) University of Nairobi.

“Mama Fina Umina Khalwale & I thank God, Kakamega Hill Junior Sch, Malinya Primary Sch, Limuru H. Sch Loreto & the UON for our daughter's 18-year successful journey,” he wrote.

Kenyans online jokingly asked him to gift her a wheelbarrow, and he responded by saying a wheelbarrow is a symbol of work.

“Upon graduation today my daughter is receiving congratulations from a growing number of Kenyans. Some are going ahead & advising that I immediately give her a wheelbarrow.

“I pray that their wish be granted! A wheelbarrow is a symbol of work representing the dignity of labour,” he wrote.

Khalwale often shares the milestones of his children online and just recently he announced that his son Engine Khalwale had secured admission to study Computer Science in campus.

He, however, did not disclose the institution the boy would be joining. Engine, who schooled at Alliance High School, scored a B+ in the 2020 KCSE.

In 2014, his daughter, Linda Khalwale, was among the top candidates with 428 marks in KCPE. In 2016, the former senator celebrated Engine's KCPE performance after he scored 400 marks.

In 2017, he congratulated his daughter Flava and son Steve for scoring 407 and 406 marks in KCPE.
