Everton supporter Ben Hughes has likely had more quiet weeks following his beloved Toffees up and down the country. And although the season ticket holder was forced to watch Carlo Ancelotti's newly-assembled squad from outside of Goodison Park, he still managed to make headlines.
The 28-year-old from North Wales, went viral across social media after he was recorded handing Everton superstar James Rodriguez a bottle of wine after their 5-2 demolition of West Brom. Ben had made the trip to Merseyside to watch the match with friends in a nearby pub, but before he made the trip back home he encountered the former Real Madrid star being driven away from the stadium.
