It was a fanfare as Esma Platnumz, sister to singer Diamond tied the knot with her lover only identified as Yahaya. The colourful ceremony held in Madale, Tanzania on July 30 was attended by close friends and family including WCB’s rising star Zuchu, Lavalava and Director Kenny, the man behind Diamond's music videos. The reception is set for today at the Lugalo Golf Course in Dar es Salaam. The couple first had a close-knit ceremony in early July while yesterday’s festivities included friends and other invited guests.

Esma has previously said she has no qualms getting married to Yahaya as his third wife saying: “Surely, this is my personal life and the decision I made, I did so by my own will, not to please anyone. People should understand that I love my husband so much. I don’t see the problem with me being married as the third wife because our religion allows it.”
