Martha Karua’s niece Marcia Wawira, also a student at Daystar University, passed away after she was involved in a grisly accident at Cabanas along Mombasa road. Marcia accompanied by four of her friends had left the Star of Excellence Awards (SOEA) that took place at Two Rivers mall and were on their way to Daystar Athi River when the accident took place.
According to a close source, they had tried overtaking but instead ended up hitting a trailer by the tyre, making the car spin then veer off the road.
