Best girl nationally in KCPE wants to become a lawyer

KISII: Felister Osebe Onduso is not just an ordinary KCPE star in 2015 but she has the will and believes she has the ability to invent the way up, some day.

She emerged the best girl nationally in the 2015 KCPE results released Wednesday with 445 marks from Gilgil Hills Academy in Nakuru County.

She says will not allow her star dimmed and wants to go all through to University and study law.
When The Standard visited her home at Sandiano Apartments in Kisii town, the family was already overwhelmed by the number of people coming in to congratulate Felister.

"I have always put God first in everything I do. Nothing comes for free. I worked hard and I deserve the best," she said.

The eldest child in a family of five, Felister said thanked her parents and teachers for the moral. "I thank my parents, teachers and fellow pupils for their support before and during the exams. Above all I want to thank my sister Nicole, for the challenge she gave me," she said.

Her mother Rachel Nyaboke, a business woman said she has had a number of challenges in her life but the wonderful performance of her daughter has rejuvenated her desire to give her daughter the best.

She could not hide her joy when she realized her daughter was the best girl nationally.

"She is an obedient girl and always disciplined. She loves school and school work. I hope that she will achieve her dream of becoming a lawyer in the future.
