Meet mother of four who earn lots of money by selling her breast milk

Manchester, England: Rebecca Hudson, from Manchester, has raised more than £3,000 selling breast milk online.

Appearing on This Morning today with Amanda Holden and Philip Schofield, the 26-year-old explained that when her daughter was born ten weeks early she wasn’t producing milk, but later it came in ‘bucket loads’.

And because her the youngster was premature, she only required three ounces of milk, meaning Rebecca had an excess of milk.

She said: “I didn’t want to pour it away because it takes a lot of work to produce breast milk.

“So I thought, if I can make money for my children, I don’t see the harm.”

So Rebecca went online and discovered there were other women in America already selling their milk.

She decided to flog her own after trying to donate the milk to a hospital and discovering they did not need it.

She has eight regular customers and sells the milk at £12.50 a bottle.

More unusual customers include a bodybuilder who uses the milk for nutrition, food enthusiasts who cook with it, and people who buy it for sexual thrills.

She told Philip Schofield: “What they do with milk is up to them, I’m not going to discriminate.

"Whether it’s for bodybuilding or sexual preferences it’s up to them.”

Rebecca reported friends and family were surprised by how much money she’d made.

She said: “My friends were quite shocked by how much I’d made and said they will consider doing it too because it’s an easy way to make money.”
