After years of uncertainty, hope is finally emerging for thousands of families living near the Eastern Mau Forest as the government takes steps to establish clear boundaries following last year's landmark court ruling.

Last Friday, a multi-agency team held a public participation meeting at Nessuit Primary School in Njoro, Nakuru County, setting the stage for the official launch of a beacon placement exercise starting today (Monday) in Sururu.
