Artificial Intelligence can be used for good, guard against its dangers

I venture into a subject I have no expertise in since Artificial Intelligence affects all of us. In an article discussing advantages and disadvantages of AI, Nikita Duggal defines AI as providing a computer programme the ability to think and learn on its own, a form of simulating human intelligence into machines to do things humans do.

AI extends beyond automation, incorporating a broad spectrum of skills, abilities that enable machines understand, reason, learn, and interact in a human-like manner. She says AI enables machines to learn from experience, adapt to new information, and perform tasks that typically require human intelligence.
