Last Sunday, July 30, 2023, St Stephen's ACK Cathedral held a fairly modest centennial celebration. Not a single member of the national or county government graced the occasion, not even the leadership of the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) which has made the church its home.
In the beginning, St Stephen's Church was built in the CMS compound at the gates of St John Ambulance located at Jackson Road (now Parliament Road).
