Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya on Thursday caused a stir when he stopped to help a woman cooking ugali outside her roadside food kiosk.

The governor who was in a convoy, spotted the woman struggling to cook ugali by the roadside. He then stopped and proceeded to help the women cook ugali, also known as white cornmeal. Ugali is one of the most popular foods in Kenya and nutritionists term it as a staple food in Kenya.
