The modern medical perspective of depression tends to put much emphasis on the neurochemicals found in the human brain. Most of us have at one point heard this view under the assumption of the “imbalance of brain chemicals”.
This aspect is the cause why many tend to treat depression by endeavoring to restore “a proper” balance. Many people essentially ignore the fact that, for milder types of depression, medication is not essentially the only option available.
