Governor Sonko's list of possible deputies evokes mixed reactions

Nairobi County Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko on Sunday, March 18 turned to social media to seek help in picking a suitable Deputy Governor ahead of the deadline. The Governor presented a list of 22 individuals asking his Facebook and Twitter followers to help him decide who was perfect for the position.

“Great people of Nairobi, some say politics is about numbers. I believe it's you the great people and God who have the powers of nominating leaders. Munisaidie hapa, whom do you think deserves to be my Deputy Governor?” Sonko posted.
