As the General Elections draw closer, Kenyan social media users have proved to be on the forefront to comment, share and analyse current political developments. Most aspirants are heavily utilising social media platforms and its users to transmit their agendas, developing stories and much propaganda.
Some have even gone to the extent of generating their own opinion polls in a quest to drum up their support. Gone are the days when political campaigns were only relayed through radio stations, newspapers and later TV.
