NIC Bank ends role in Imperial Bank receivership

NIC Bank has announced the end of its mandate as the asset and liability consultant for Imperial Bank, which is currently under receivership. 

NIC was appointed to the role on June 21, last year by the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC). As part of its mandate, NIC said yesterday, it among other things, undertook an assessment of the quality of the bank’s assets and liabilities and supported loan recovery processes.
