Soccer is one of the world’s most ancient and famous sports of all the time dating back to many decades ago. Everyone from the world’s most developed and civilized nations across the world to developing and some poorest nations are glued to soccer. At least when you eaves drop a group of two or three people talking, football will be mentioned whether criticizing how our national team Harambee stars is poorly performing with our dramatic local premier league that leaves every Kenyan wondering. All the same, they may praise and criticize some of the world’s classical and well managed premier leagues, Spanish La Liga, English premier league, Italian Serie A, Germany’s Bundesliga and France’s League 1 just to name a few.
The club and the fans have regularly featured in portrayals of football in British culture. Gunners come from far and wide, according to a 2005 report estimated Arsenal's global fan base at 27 million, the third-largest in the world. A September 2011 report estimated Arsenal's fan base at 100 million worldwide, still making them the third-largest team in terms of supporters. However the club has been under criticism for failing to clinch English premier league title from 2005.
