Collymore's millions a victory for transparency

Collymore’s millions have been the talk of the day and so many people are wondering how and why  he should be allowed to earn that much in a 3rd world country. Sh9 million would translate into approximately a hundred thousand dollars with exchange rates of last year, which in itself is a pretty large amount of salary even in first world countries such as America.

The buzz has been that if he takes home 9 million then he must be earning around 12 million assuming he pays taxes or that his salary is more than the presidents of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania combined and how much he would be earning in a day or an hour compared to the common person, no doubt his daily salary is more than what many honest hard working Kenyans earn in a whole year.
