Ex-bandits get Sh2.4 million grant to initiate businesses

Seven groups of youths of former bandits have benefited from a Sh2.4 million grant from the National Drought Management Authority (NDMA) to initiate income generating ventures.

County NDMA Coordinator Gabriel Mbogho who issued cheques of between Sh150,000 and Sh300,000 to the groups said the youth had requested for support to initiate activities that can be alternative sources of earning a living.
