President Uhuru Kenyatta is in Cape Town, South Africa to attend the World Economic Forum on Africa.

The President arrived in Cape Town on Thursday night.

President Uhuru was invited to take part in a session entitled ‘Africa 2063: From fragility to stability’.

He is also expected to host a conversation on the future of Kenya.

The theme of this year’s World Economic Forum is ‘Delivering on Africa’s promise’ and aims to deepen the current integration agenda and renew commitment to a sustainable path of growth and development.

Among other leaders who will be attending the meeting are President Jakaya Kikwete
of Tanzania, Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn of Ethiopia, President Thomas Yayi Boni of Benin, President James Alix Michel of Seychelles, and King Mswati III of Swaziland, among others.

The President is accompanied by the First Lady Mrs. Margaret Kenyatta, Attorney General Githu Muigai and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Mr. Thuita Mwangi.
