Airline plans to continue scheduled flights

748 air services plans to continue scheduled flights to Maasai Mara and charter requests for international tourists.

In a statement, the airline said it will fly all international tourists who have already booked to the Mara and welcomes all bookings from camps and lodges, tour operators and travel agents.

“International tourists arriving in Kenya must adhere to Covid 19 protocols including presenting a Covid – certificate acquired no more than 96 hours prior arrival to the country,” said the airline in a statement.

President Uhuru Kenyatta last week announced travel restrictions in the capital Nairobi and four surrounding counties (Kajiado, Machakos, Nakuru and Kiambu) to slow surging Covid-19 infections.

Under the new curbs, authorities said Nairobi and the counties of Kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu and Nakuru would be treated as one zone, and residents would be barred from crossing over to other areas.
