Oil prices slid yesterday as concern grew that a record rise in coronavirus infections worldwide could stall recovery in fuel demand, outweighing tighter supplies from major producers.
Brent crude fell 11 cents, or 0.3 per cent, to $42.03 (Sh4,455) a barrel in early trading, while US crude was at $39.69 (Sh4,207) a barrel, down 14 cents, or 0.4 per cent.
