National Bank of Kenya (NBK) last week held a customer appreciation cocktail at the Yaya Premium Centre Branch to celebrate its long standing, high net worth clients.

Since Premium banking was launched in 2015, it has been a core growth centre for the bank, bringing in over Sh2.5 billion additional business, the lender said in a press release.

Managing Director Wilfred Musau said National Bank had undertaken various key strategic approaches in the way it conducts its business aimed at improving overall performance and meeting the changing needs of customers.

“The launch of our premium banking centres and products is one of the key transformational initiatives of the bank aimed at driving future growth,” he said.

“As we celebrate our 50-year milestone, we thank our loyal customers whose strategic business and partnerships have propelled our bank to this level of success.”

Mr Musau said the bank had adopted digital banking to improve customer experience.

“We are fully embracing innovation to drive the digital bank agenda as a way of increasing efficiency in service delivery, ease of access for customers and driving financial inclusion,” he said.

NBK premium bank account holders access free services such as ATM cards, cheque book, banker’s cheque, ATM withdrawals and RTGS transfer.
