The mood of former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s supporters was yesterday dampened after the Supreme Court upheld his 2020 impeachment.
Throughout the week, Sonko and his supporters had been in high spirits after the High Court cleared him to run. This brought Sonko back in good books with former political nemesis President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga.
