ODM youth demonstrate in solidarity with Joho

A section of Orange Democratic Movement Party youth supporters drawn from Kitui County have staged demonstration in solidarity with Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho.

Led by the regional Youth Leader Farid Bakari, the group said that they have been bemused by what they term as character assassination directed towards Governor Joho by some pro-Tanga Tanga legislators.

They pin-pointed Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi urging him to avoid making unsubstantiated allegations against the governor, by linking him to illicit dealing in drugs.

Bakari also called on Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa to respect Governor Joho, urging her to prepare for a political shock.

He said that Aisha has taken her dalliance with DP Ruto’s camp too far at the expense of observing interest of the party.

Jumwa has been vocal and has lately criticized Governor Joho, linking her to party woes that saw her nearly ousted out of the Orange Party.
