Kenya targets green energy sufficiency by 2020, Uhuru says

President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday joined other leaders for the opening plenary of the Paris Peace Forum which was addressed by French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and the Founder of SheSays India, Trisha Shetty.

Kenya is seeking to attain 100 per cent transition to green energy by 2020, the President has said.

President Uhuru Kenyatta said the country would boost investments in the renewable energy sector, to address climate change.
