President Kenyatta witnesses signing of MoU for the revival of Kenya National Shipping Line

President Uhuru Kenyatta witnesses the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) led by Captain Giovanni Cuomo, the First Vice President, for the revival of the Kenya National Shipping Line (KNSL)at State House, Nairobi.

A deal for the revival of Kenya National Shipping Line (KNSL), which is expected to create thousands of jobs at the Coast, was signed yesterday.

The company's revival is expected to create 10,000 jobs in the region and save the country Sh300 billion annually, money normally lost when using other shipping lines. The firm will have the sole mandate to handle cargo.
