Training: Kenyatta University hosting IAAF elite coach course

IAAF WORLD YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP The First Lady of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Margaret Kenyatta, EGH tests the readiness of facilities at the IAAF World Under 18 Athletics Championship Village at Kenyatta University. Looking on are Prof. Paul K. Wainaina Acting Vice Chancellor Kenyatta University and Mr. Mwangi Muthee C.E.O. of the Local Organising Committee. The games to be held at Kasarani Stadium will run from the 12th to the 16th of July 2017.

International Association of Athletics Federation's (IAAF) middle-distance, long-distance and RW Endurance Academy Elite Coach Course is ongoing at Kenyatta University.

The six-day course being facilitated by IAAF Regional Development Centre (Nairobi) has brought together coaches for middle and long distance from ten countries including the host Kenya, South Africa, Swaziland, Ethiopia and Germany.
