A party MP who lost his parliamentary seat
muck raked at a Sagana River State Lodge meeting called by President Uhuru
Kenyatta and eventually shot down the inclusion of a former governor into the
two-man presidential campaign coordination team representing candidates who
lost in the last elections.
The former MP who ironically comes from the
same constituency with his ex-governor is said to have raised a furore when the
election for the representatives was called on instructions of the president.
"How do you include a known mole in a committee to campaign for Uhuru? How
do we know he is not a spy? We must elect other people and not him," the
Jubilee hawk is said to have bellowed during the election after the delegates
were sent into county groups to elect their representatives.
