I am a university student in my early twenties and I am dating a man who is fifteen years my senior. Our relationship is based purely on mutual attraction and has nothing to do with money. We have been keeping our relationship a secret because we are afraid of being judged and I don’t want people to think this is a ‘sponsor’ type of arrangement. I really love him and want us to work out but I am too afraid of what my family and friends would say if they found out. Should I end the relationship?

If you are convinced that you two are in love, you make each other happy and you don’t have an ulterior motive for being with him, I don’t see why you should not give it a chance. Your friends and family might disapprove at first but if he makes you happy they will just have to accept it.
