National Bank’s half-year after tax profit falls to Sh179.8m

NAIROBI, KENYA: National Bank of Kenya has recorded a 42 per cent drop in half-year after tax profit to Sh179.8million from Sh311.3 million as interest income fall by more than a third.

In the half-year ended June, 2017, the group’s net interest income is at Sh2.86b compared to Sh4.44billion a year ago.
